Applications for smart phones that are relevant to dentistry are gaining popularity and are an easier way for students, professionals, and patients to acquire information. The purpose of this article is to examine how mobile technologies and current dental "apps" are used. The transition from desktop learning (D-learning) to mobile learning (M-learning) has been a significant one throughout time, and it has only been made feasible with the use of electronic media and the expansion of the Internet.
